On the south-side of the River Avon nestled along its banks are Workman and Waterside Gardens offering a tranquil escape in the heart of Evesham. At the bridge end of the park the avenue of mature lime trees is lit at night with purple and green up-lighters which give a very romantic Mediterranean feel to the river frontage. You can stroll through the well-maintained gardens, admire the seasonal floral displays, take a picnic or simply unwind on one of the many benches overlooking the river where you’ll often spot narrowboats passing by. There are 3 pétanque courts and table tennis tables with bats and balls available to hire for a small deposit from the nearby Northwick Hotel. Blue badge holders can park in Workman Gardens with other parking available on the adjacent Waterside Road.
