Festivals & Events
We love our festivals in the Vale of Evesham, in fact we don’t think there’s anywhere else in England where the festival programme is so diverse!
One weekend you can be rubbing shoulders with national Morris Sides in Market Place when only a month before our internationally famous Asparagus was being celebrated and two weeks later the river will be filled with a flotilla of brightly decorated boats.
Starting in the spring with the arrival of the much-heralded Blossom Trail and continuing throughout the year, ending with the Country Christmas celebrations, the festivals really do cater for everyone. From the culinary to the musical, the historical to the arts and sporting to the downright eccentric, Evesham festivals really do make for a colourful year.
Welcome in the spring with the Blossom tours, Asparagus Festival featuring ‘Asparafest’ the Regatta and the Vintage Festival.
Herald the summer with the Classic Car Rally, National Morris Weekend, River and Plum festivals, the Battle of Evesham memorial walk, the UK’s largest Angling Festival, Open Gardens and Farm weekends.
Celebrate the arrival of colourful autumn with the Festival of Brass, the Pie & Ale Festival, the Vale of Evesham Autumn Show and the Bredon Hill Bikeaway, before rounding off your year in the Vale with a huge bonfire party and the Country Christmas.
