Ye Olde Red Horse
Our traditional English pub is a historical, timber-framed 15th century coaching inn and one of the oldest hostelries in the Vale of Evesham. Located in the town centre on the corner of Vine Street and Merstow Green, Ye Olde Red Horse is directly opposite the tourist information and Almonary.
Entering our pub you will be greeted by friendly members of staff who will direct you to the bar or make sure you’re comfortable in our uniquely decorated lounge. The pub features oak panelling, beamed ceilings and, in the winter, roaring log fires.
Ye Olde Red Horse regularly features in the Good Beer Guide and we are also Casque Marque accredited. Make yourself at home with a pint of real ale, draught beer, traditional cider, a glass or even a bottle of wine. Our selection of ales includes Wells Bombardier, M & B Brew XI and guest ales that change with every barrel.
All your favourite beers are on draught, such as Carling, Kronenburg, San Miguel, John Smiths and Guinness. We also have Strongbow, Stowford Press and a range of traditional ciders such as Addlestones and Thatchers Cheddar Valley. We serve a variety of red wines, white wines and rose wines by the bottle or the glass as well as a hot winter warmer throughout the colder months.
You’re welcome to make a playlist on the jukebox, challenge your friends to a game of darts or support your team on match day. We show live sport broadcast on BT Sport on our television and projector.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the pub.
In the summer, we present award-winning floral displays and open up our unique courtyard which has a lovely oval pond and is the perfect place to spend a lazy, languorous afternoon in the sun.
So, if you are local to Evesham or just passing through, make sure you stop off at Ye Olde Red Horse for a pint, or two!
