Chair’s Ramble & AGM March 2025

Area: The Heart of England Forest
Start: 10 am
Distance: 5 miles
Terrain: Easy. The terrain is mostly flat. There is one stile. If there has been lots of rain before the ramble, bring your walking sticks as some of the ramble is alongside a river and/or streams so could be very muddy.
Lunch: l pm
Where: The Frog, 65 High Street, Bidford-on-Avon
The AGM:
When: Refreshment 3.00 pm / AGM 3.30 pm
Where: Cleeve Prior Heritage Trust, Field Barn, Evesham Road, Cleeve Prior
Details: After the walk, we are holding the AGM, an important event in the club’s calendar when we give a brief report on the past year and elect officers for the coming year.
Tea / coffee and cake (including GF/VE) will be provided by the Trustees at £6 per head. (Please bring cash for this.)

Starting at 10.00 am, we will explore the Heart of England Forest. The forest was the brain-child of Felix Dennis, a larger than life millionaire, who set up a charity to reverse centuries of woodland decline by creating and conserving a huge broadleaf forest for the benefit of the environment, wildlife and people.“
