March Short Ramble

• Area: Hanley Castle
• Start Time: 10 am
• Terrain: This is a flat walk with one gentle incline. Our route is on tracks, woodland paths, pastureland and quiet lanes. We cross an arable field and there is a permissive farm track that may be muddy after rain.
• Distance: 5.5 miles
• Description:

” Right from the outset we have a glimpse of the Malverns as we leave the outskirts of Hanley Castle and continue to enjoy these splendid views as we take in the Worcestershire countryside that lies between the Malvern Ridge and the River Severn.”

After the ramble :

Close to the end of the walk we pass Grade II listed The Three Kings Inn, owned by the same family for over a century, and for those who want to ‘step back in time’ we’ll stop by for a pint or a coffee (cash only). Those wishing to head back, the cars are only 500 yds away on a direct route.
